The Underwater Acoustic Communication Module is designed for the purpose of establishing communication between On Shore Control and Monitoring Station (COMOS) and Off Shore MINE laid in sea water. Communication between COMOS and the MINE is in half duplex mode. The purpose of the communication system is to control and activate/deactivate the DAS operations remotely from a surface vessel or from shore.
